It was a nice warm weekend here in Phoenix, and with temperatures in the mid 70's, I spent most of Sunday at the Desert Botanical Gardens. I discovered something I had never known before, that there is a place within the gardens where you can get lunch (I got a hot dog, chips and a soda) and sit out in the sun, where I painted the above and fed quails and sparrows. The little sparrows would jump up and take the bread crumbs from my pinched fingers, and I gathered a large flock of birds at one point.
