From a photograph taken of two of my nephews, Jack and Tyler. We're at Nags Head Beach, North Carolina, in August 2008.

Oh my, this is terrible to say, but all of my paintings end up in a big pile on a shelf in my desk. I really should do more... I don't even sign them usually... for me the process is in the making, when I'm done I don't think to keep it... Isn't that weird? It's something I need to think about...
Wow - Ty's first portrait.... Like all non-first-borns, there are barely any pictures of his childhood comparatively speaking, much less a portrait... your art is so cool - we definitely want some pieces for our walls :)

I don't know what's going on with the skin tones, I think it has to do with the scanned image... Nephews are definitely not Martian :-)
