Japan wheelchair has built-in toilet (from digg.com)

During my three-month hiatus from blogging, I've developed a real fondness for digg.com and youtube.com. Consider that a warning, knowing of my fondness for blooper reels, and cute videos about cats.

But this article is about a Japanese invention -- a wheelchair designed to allow toileting while still in the chair. It even seems to include bidet.

So I was thinking about these new hospital beds, the kind that, at the flip of a switch, will convert into a chair while the patient is still in it -- would be neat if we could incorporate a built in toilet/bidet for use with really heavy patients.
