Plateau (dammit)...
I've stalled at the same weight (about 15 pounds off) for the past week. I'm not worried though, I know how these things go. I can't imagine tightening up any more with my diet (well, ok, there's the margarine I still put on my whole wheat bread, and I do like my occasional peanut butter and jelly sandwiches).
One gimmick I use to keep motivated: I record the number of workouts at LA Fitness on my calendar. For instance, today's workout is workout #45 since day one on June 30. It's motivating watching the number get bigger.
The telling tale, of course, is how I think I look standing naked in front of a full-length mirror. It doesn't matter what the scales say, I can tell I'm losing. [To my family, I apologize for the vividly unsettling image.]
John: Plateaus are my most "dangerous" times to quit. I have finally stopped weighing myself after every workout (that was driving me absolutely crazy), and even at the weekly weigh in, it's not a huge deal if I'm not lighter, so long as my clothes keep getting looser.

Yep,
Plateaus are a part of life. I haven't dropped an ounce in almost three months, but I have lost 2 more inches in my waist during that time..
As you know, the body needs to adjust..

Karen: calipers? Oh Hell No. And as you know, I've been through this sort of thing before. I could end up at the same weight but still be a lot healthier.
HypnoKitten: As part of our oath to "Do No Harm," I'd never subject anyone to any pic of me sans clothing :-) I might take post a picture when I get to my goal (which will be a while).

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are essential for life.
Are you going to post a new photo of yourself so we can see? Um... fully clothed of course.... !

you're doing fine, remember your body's morphing a bit right now, losing fat gaining muscle, if the bio tech nerd in you is really wanting to see moving numbers you can start going ocd on your fat % numbers, with a tanita body fat monitor scale, or making the meat head trainers measure your body fat prior to working out, with the tanita scale it however isn't as accurate unless you're properly hydrated and weighing yourself at the same time each day...
