I did my civic duty earlier today and cast my vote. Arizona still utilizes the scantron-type voting method, and our polling center is an elementary school. The line was fairly long. We got there at 0700 and didn't get out until 0820 or so. There were only 6 voting spots, so the folks running the poll let us opt to sit at the nearby library tables, where I sat on a chair made for an 8-year-old. Felt a tad bit like I was taking the SAT or something.
I'm not going to divulge who I am voting for, but my main concern was to stabilize the stock market. Also, I want every US President from here on, no matter who that person might be, that I want no more 9-11 catastrophes, and that I don't care where we must hang the American flag to make that certainty (pretty obvious who I voted for then).
Hope everybody had a chance to vote. Next year, I think I'm opting for an early ballot so I can do more research. Those Propositions and bond Referenda took me a bit for a loop right at the end.
